Pretty, Happy, Funny, Real (Linking up with Like Mother, Like Daughter!)

20 Aug

Today I am linking up with Like Mother, Like Daughter for the first time!!  (*Queue squeal of excitement!*)

They are wives, mothers, home-makers extraordinaire!!!

Today’s topic is:

Pretty, Happy, Funny, Real

~ Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life ~

This garden picture was captured a couple Sundays ago after Mass.

It’s so picturesque and peaceful.

I sat on a park bench and soaked up the beauty for a while.  While I was there I met a fisherman who was out bright and early.

(the lake is right behind me in the picture.)

Me and my older sister on our way to the campground last weekend.  We went up for an annual girls’ camping trip with friends.

We kayaked, had campfires, and made cinnamon rolls over the fire (what?!?!)

My sister’s dog, Teddi.  He is part golden retriever, poodle and Irish setter.

He is usually very energetic.  Thankfully I got him to hold still for long enough to snap this picture.

Oh yes, this is the bacon that we had with breakfast on the camping trip.  Compliments of yours truly 😉
