CHIP DIP – EASY PEASY

20 Jul

This recipe is delicious.

It is my “claim to fame”, if you will.

A few years ago I was going to a gathering and needed to bring a dish to share.

I looked in my pantry and whipped this dish together.

It is a “festive bean dip.”

It calls for 3 or 4 ingredients, depending on your taste preference.

The recipe is simple and delish!

Here is how I made it in 4 easy peasy steps:

(First pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees.)

1. Take a cake pan (9 X 13) and spread two cans of refried beans in the pan.

2. Open a can of tomatoes, the kind with green chilies. (*NOTE – if you don’t have tomatoes with chilies, you can use plain canned tomatoes or fresh diced tomatoes.  AND, if you really wanna go “all out” you can even use fresh cilantro.  I highly recommend cilantro.  MMMmmm!)

3. Sprinkle the top with mozzarella cheese.

4. Place pan on top rack of the oven for 10 minutes or until cheese just begins to melt.

Take out and serve with tortilla chips.

This photo is to give you an idea of what it looks like, although the photo is just off a web search 😉

Howdy! This blog post couldn’t be written much better! Looking through this post reminds me of my previous roommate! He always kept talking about this. I am going to send this article to him. Pretty sure he’s going to have a good read.

    Thanks for sharing!
