He gets up early.

He goes to morning Mass every day.

His faith is unshakable.

He is thoughtful and caring.

He is a hard worker.

He has an easy laugh.

His wisdom is timeless.

He has a heart of gold.

He goes out of his way to help others.

He loves projects of any sort.

He loves to tinker.

His family (65 members and counting!) are the apple of his eye.

He educates his family in the Catholic Faith and keeps them accountable to God in all areas of their lives.  He won’t stand for any lackadaisical nonsense of any sort.  He is their role model and they love him all the more when he calls them on because they know he does it out of love.

He is sensitive and has deep compassion.

He prays the daily Rosary for all his family members.

He gets a twinkle in his eye when ice cream is on the menu.

He can rock a crying baby to sleep.

He has made me fried eggs and toast in his kitchen after we meet up at morning Mass.

He stops by my work to say hello.

He calls me “cute thing.”

He is my Grandpa.

I wouldn’t trade him for the world.

I am so thankful.
